100 Years Of Spring: The Blog

Hi! It's me. Neil. This is the blog for my "100 Years Of Spring" tour, featuring my solo piano transcription of Stravinsky's "Rite Of Spring".
Premiered in 1913, we are fast approaching the centennial celebration...
My relationship with this iconic work goes back to 1966, when I first saw Disney's "Fantasia" at age 6. I received a copy of the 4 hand score in 1982, and after many performances began condensing it for solo performance. First performed in 2002, I am now ready to bring my vision of this piece to the World Stage, in a unique tour of food markets and other public spaces.
